Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most often
If yours is not here, write to us: we are happy to answer.
We already have a management system. Do we have to replace it?
No. The approach is not a replacement: Sandeza fits where some areas are not covered today, or are covered badly, partly because other platforms cannot do it or are too rigid. Most cases we see are companies with systems already structured and built over time. If you want a single system instead, it can cover the whole flow.
How does it integrate with the systems we have?
Through read-and-write REST APIs, OData, ODBC and file exchange. It connects to machines, quality instruments, automated warehouses, e-commerce, portals, analytics tools and accounting software.
We are not a manufacturer. Is it for us?
Although we were born in production, we work with non-manufacturing companies: those who install, maintain and sell B2B use the platform in its zService configuration.
Do we need custom software development?
No. The platform is standard and configurable: it is set up on your processes, with lower costs in the short and long term. All customers work on the same foundation, which receives new features with continuous updates.
How much does it cost?
It depends on modules and users. The licence can be annual or perpetual, and there are starter packages sized on the number of users. The quote is built after we have seen your processes.
How long does it take to get started?
Adoption is progressive: you start from one process, not from the whole company at once. Timing depends on the scope, and we define it together after the analysis.
We work on custom orders and engineering is disconnected from production.
It is one of the most typical situations: many of our customers are subcontractors with complex, high-quality production in small or one-off batches. The point is not having another piece of software, but making design, progress tracking and final costing talk to each other.
I work in quality. What changes for me?
The value shows when quality is connected to production and management control, because the data is interdependent. Inspection plans, instruments, calibration and non-conformities live in the same system.
We are a group with sites or branches abroad.
The platform is multi-company, multi-currency and multilingual, with several VAT numbers on the same installation. The server can be on premises or in the cloud, the workstations anywhere.
Which devices does it run on?
On Mac and Windows in the office, on iPad on the shop floor and in the field. Technicians’ service calls and agents’ orders can be recorded even offline.
What is the demo like?
It is not the usual sales presentation: it is a concrete discussion of the way you work, lasting about an hour, from which ideas, hidden issues and good practices emerge.
